About Web Search Engineer’s Founder, Richard John Jenkins
Richard John Jenkins, founder of Web Search Engineer, is an expert SEO Optimizer/Specialist and currently lives in Ventura, California.
Richard brings years of experience and a wealth of multimedia and web publishing knowledge to his Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Marketing Company.
Early in his digital media career Richard aligned himself with Macromedia Corporation (now owned by Adobe Systems) and their amazing and award winning web publishing tools by becoming one of the first professional trainers of Macromedia's: Director, Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks, Freehand, Contribute, Captivate and Breeze digital tools.
He started the first ever Los Angeles Macromedia Director User Group which he hosted for several years through the Los Angeles Macintosh User Group (LAMG).
Concurrently he became a popular instructor for over three years at the American Film Institute (AFI) where he also headed up the Digital Media Arts department and taught hundreds of Hollywood Film, Television, New Media professionals Macromedia Director and other software.
After several years freelancing for Macromedia as an expert trainer, Richard was brought on board full-time to Macromedia's Technical Sales Engineer (SE) team where he focused on the K-12 and higher Education markets leading workshops, seminars, classes and evangelizing Macromedia's software at trade shows all over North America. To date Richard has trained over 36,000 people on Macromedia's tools (now owned by Adobe Systems).
After spending just over a year at Corel Corporation (before they became a private company again), Richard resurrected Corel’s five-year-old dormant Education division. He then headed up their entire Education Marketing efforts throughout North America, concentrating on Business Development where he created several top technology partnerships for Corel most notably: Intel, Sony, Apple, Wacom, Macromedia and Adobe Systems.
Post Corel Richard decided to focus on what he knows and loves best - working with people, the fascinating world of search engine optimization marketing and helping client’s web sites achieve high rankings in search query results.
Richard was recently a full time employee of Bruce Clay Inc. heading up
his Pay Per Click / Search Engine Marketing Department as well as attending
Bruce Clay's SEO ToolSet training (Bruce Clay is a recognized expert in the
SEO field) obtaining his workshop certificate on Bruce Clay's SEO ToolSet.
